Faith Hattersley is a student-athlete at the University of Mary Washington, completing my major in Communications and Digital Studies and a minor in Business Administration. Since 2019, she has worked at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club, starting as a lifeguard and advancing to a management role over the past two years.

Currently, she is a Communications & Social Media Intern with Friends of the Rappahannock, where she supports digital storytelling, content creation, and online engagement strategies to promote environmental advocacy and community outreach. This role has deepened her interest in using media for social impact and strengthened her skills in writing, design, and digital outreach. Her personal photography was the origin of her interest in communications. Visual storytelling is a compelling and emotional way to convey something, especially when it’s close to home. All photographs are taken of locations Faith loves, including Wilmington, NC and the Chesapeake Bay, where she grew up.

With a growing interest in digital marketing, media, and public relations, she is am excited to bring creativity and a strong work ethic to new opportunities in these fields.
